Huawei E5788 vs Nighthawk M1 – Pocket Wi-Fi
So far 2018 has been an exciting year for technology and will only continue to push the boundaries. With more funding and research going into Mobile Broadband we should expect to see a higher development in devices. Before 2018 Netgears Nighthawk M1 was listed as the fastest 4G LTE Pocket Wi-Fi in the market. But Huawei have stepped up their game and brought in a fierce competitor, the Huawei E5788. The two devices are vastly similar as they both support the ultra-fast download speed of 1 Gigabit per second and the 150 Mbps upload speed.

Judging by appearance only, both the devices have a sleek modern design. Although, the Nighthawk M1 is bigger in size and heavier in weight which makes it less pocket-friendly. But both devices are very portable and easy to use whilst on the move. The Huawei E5788 has a colourful 2.4” touchscreen making it easier to use. The Nighthawk M1 may look like it is touchscreen, but it is not.
BATTERY
There is quite a difference in batteries within these devices. The Huawei E5788 has a built-in battery of 3000mAh with a working time of 12 hours. However, the Nighthawk M1 has a huge removable battery of 5040 mAh and a working time of up to 24 hours. A bonus feature of this pocket device is that you can charge your devices on it, although this will drastically lower the usage time.
